The starting point of Augusta Victoria series is the historic meeting at the end of the nineteen century between Theodor Herzl and Kaiser Wilhelm II, and the potential promise -- real or imagined -- this meeting had. The series uses the tragic destiny of Herzl's family and that of the Kaiser as an allegory for the destiny of the two nations. On thirteen large and expressive wood plates, has been etched with electric pen portraits, figures, buildings, and conceptual representations related to his personal interpretation to the story. The series combines history and destiny, private and public worlds, and links them to our daily post-traumatic situation.
